New Workshop Program launched

We are excited to have launched a new program of “creative” Workshops with talented local artists inspiring and teaching a range of new creative skills.

From learning the skill of Green Wood carving to Saori Weaving to Botanical Ink Printing, the workshops are fun and engaging. The workshops are hands on and so you will come away with a piece you have created at the completion of the class.

With small classes of around ten it is the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill in a relaxed environment for a master. Your workshop entry also allows you to enjoy the park experience and wander the 2km track after your workshop. Or, stop into the Roosting Ruru Cafe for some refreshments including a decadent Duck Island Ice cream.
