Maria, an expressive illustrator and watercolourist, chooses

creativity over certainty in her art practise. She loves to paint

in a loose spontaneous way with her distinctive mark-making

dancing across the page allowing for “imperfections” to show

character and visual variety. Maria’s art is described as emotive

and endearing, most include nature and animals which are her

livelong inspirations.
