What our visitors have to say…

  • Team Building at the Park

Interactionz enjoyed a fantastic Team Engagement Day at the Sculpture Park. Teams competed to find clues throughout the park and collaborated to complete a puzzle. The arboretum’s stunning plantings and ponds – a haven for birds and frogs – are interspersed with a huge range of sculptures providing surprises around every corner.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the food was superb (dietary needs were catered for) and we felt so welcome and relaxed.

The Sculpture Park is a place you could visit multiple times, especially in different seasons, and always see something new. The natural rural setting is such a great antidote to city life and office work that Interactionz gave its staff members an annual pass so they can visit the park in their leisure time to relax, socialise, exercise or recharge their creative batteries. The Park also hosts workshops in planting and creative pursuits – including creating sculptures.

Interactionz was pleased to support another Waikato charity and would happily recommend a team visit to the Waitakaruru Arboretum.

  • Gift Vouchers

I purchased some Park entry vouchers for a gift and it was easy and quick.

A simple process which worked well

  • Group visit with MV Tours

DI took a group of senior citizens there for a visit. We were warmly welcomed by smiling faces, with an enthusiastic team. Before we started our visit we had a lovely morning tea, and John did a fantastic talk on the development over the years. The team went the extra mile to make sure everyone was looked after and got around safely. Highly recommend a visit to arboretum and sculpture park to everyone.

Thank you for making our day extra special. Michelle Van De Ven.

  • “A visit to The Sculpture Park at Waitakaruru Arboretum is a great day out where you can wander through their 2km art and nature trail. Along the way, you can see Tuis and Fantails along with other wildlife while enjoying the unique sculptures and installations. It is well worth a visit, there is something for everyone. After your trail sit and relax with a coffee and an ice cream."

  • Mother's Day High Tea

Amanda and I were excited to be the first High Tea guests at the Sculpture Park. The food selections was awesome and the rugs made the experience more enjoyable. The Duck Island Ice cream was the treat on top of a Mother’s Day treat.

  • Photography Workshop

I really did enjoy the tutorial given by Mark and information he provided and the opportunity to wander around and take some photos with his support and guidance.

The booking was easy to follow and the hospitality shown on the day was great as was the food and the peaceful nature of the park.
